Why do I need worms
Why do I need worms?
Worms can be used for so many things:
- Fishing
- Reduce composting time from months to weeks
- Eat your garbage, leaves, grass clippings
Released into the yard, they loosen soil and fertilize everything from the garden to the lawn.
Their waste matter (castings) is the perfect fertilizer for any plant you have.
Their tunneling activity improves soil aeration, porosity, and permeability, allowing roots to go deeper and increasing moisture absorption and moisture available to plants.
Castings – Vermicompost (what the worms leave when they are done with your garbage)
- Will not burn roots.
- Can be used to fertilize any plants, vegetables, fruit, flowers, lawn.
- Odorless
- Can be used to make a “tea” that can be sprayed directly on foliage.
- Rich in minerals and nutrients that are readily available to your plants.
- Helps retain moisture.
You can grow healthier, stronger plants, vegetables and flowers.
